‘So Much Sparkle’ as That's Amore Party, Occasions and Gift Shop Makes its Mark

That’s Amore is putting all the fun and frivolity into Suffolk occasions. The party, occasions and gift shop has recently moved from Felixstowe to Stonham Barns Park for the start of a new chapter in the country. Owner Sonia Mayes started the business ten years ago from her home in Felixstowe before opening a shop in the town. As part of her ongoing business journey, Sonia is now based in mid-Suffolk at Stonham Barns Park Retail Village at Stonham Aspal. The move has enabled Sonia to reach a new audience with high-quality balloons and balloon sculptures for all occasions, wedding paraphernalia, greetings cards and gifts. The business is founded on personal service with Sonia guiding customers through the best options for making a celebration - like a wedding, birthday or baby shower – a memorable occasion for family and friends. Says Sonia, ‘This is yet another developmental move for That’s Amore. I am hugely proud

of what I have achieved over the years with the business and want to bring that energy to Stonham Barns Park which is a rural Retail Village that is loved by so many people. I am already feeling the benefit of working in a more relaxed environment where people come to the venue to browse and have fun with the family. There is so much here to see and do, and such a lovely community feel to the location. Many of my former customers are still coming to see me for their celebration needs, and I am meeting a whole new audience of customers too. I love helping people to make the most of their special celebration days. It’s all about creating memories and spending time with the people you love – particularly when we are all working and so short of time. We are all living more in the moment, where possible, and keeping social contact with others which is good for us especially in the challenging times we live in. It’s about bringing the sparkle to any occasion. This is a new phase in my life – and I am loving the change. I enjoy chatting with customers, swapping stories of key milestones and meeting so many new people along the way!’
