Stonham Barns Park – the leisure, retail and holiday park at Stonham Aspal – has welcomed The Dance Shop to its Retail Village complex.
The outlet has recently joined over 40 retail tenants to continue the venue’s reputation as one of the go-to shopping destinations for dancewear in Suffolk. Managing the outlet is Jenni Filby, who lives in Stowmarket. Jenni is enjoying the new responsibility of bringing ballet and modern dance apparel to dancers of all ages and abilities. Says Jenni, ‘When the opportunity arose for running a dance shop to serve the dancers of Suffolk, I was very keen to take up the challenge. I have been through the dance years with my daughter and know how important it is to have the right source for dancewear from beginners to dance graduates. The shop offers dancers the opportunity to try before buying which is so important particularly for items such as Pointe shoes and we are lucky to have a specialist fitter working with us to make sure that dancers have the correct dancewear so they can dance to the best of their ability.
